- CDT engineers have spent countless hours over the past two decades researching the materials, frequency responses, mounting techniques and installation applications involved in producing a set of speakers that can deliver the truest, in-car sound possible. - The component set's CL-4 Midranges are an industry benchmark, featuring pressed treated cones for a smooth natural response. Butyl Rubber surrounds are also used for increased suspension and excursion, while staying resilient to the tough automotive atmosphere. On top, you'll notice a tuned "bullett" in the center of the speaker which helps create a wide but still accurate listening range. On the bottom, a strong ferroferrite magnet structure and vented voice coil for increased power handling, which is responsible for the tight mid-bass they effortlessly produce.
- The Custom made Satnet-400 Crossovers included in the set play an equally important role in delivering the truest sound possible. CDT's European designers custom built the passive crossovers to focus on special crossover points that cover and exceed well beyond those critical midrange fundamentals of ordinary music. The innovative result is musical reproduction that adjusts to sound great to virtually anyone, listening to any music.
- Finally in order to offer crisp, full-range sound, that will please any individual listener, The Classic component series offers a variety of tweeter options. The CL-41/19 set includes CDT's extra efficient TW-19, 3/4" Silk dome tweeter, which is geared towards natural highs. The CL41/22 set steps up to the beefy TW-22, 1" Silk dome tweeter.
- The TW-22 has an increased power handling to minimize distortion at high volumes while providing smooth upper response in any application. Listeners also have the option of acheiving absolute sonic clarity with the new CL41/25 PRO which offers CDT's highest available tweeter technology for amazingly stunning highs, superb detail, incredible clarity and even higher power handling capabilities. All sets include a variety of tweeter mounting options between: Angle, Surface and Flush Mount, to ensure flexibility in custom installation to perfectly aim the sound for each individual listener.
